This I Wrote For You
Layers of you are slowly becoming a memory
something I am sure I will soon forget
I can never master the Art of Letting Go
But I know someday you will be replaced
I feel the touch of your hand leaving me
your warmth that was once a blanket
forgotten and replaced by own
I undo our hugs and caresses
your breath whispering the melody of love
But how do I let go of your voice
a soothing sound to my ears
a gentle calamity inside my chaotic mind
reassuring that everything will be just fine
Maybe there is strength in holding on to that
When the day gets cold
and lonely and dark
I know it's your voice that have always made me believe
that love do exist, in you and everyone else
